Who We Are

About AADEIP

The African Association of Digital Economy and ICT Professionals is a pan-African membership body and advocacy organisation dedicated to advancing digital literacy, infrastructure knowledge, and consumer empowerment across the continent.

Our Mission

Empowering every South African to understand the digital systems that shape their lives.

AADEIP was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that digital infrastructure — the mobile networks, data centres, fibre cables, and satellite systems that connect us — is too important to remain the exclusive domain of engineers and executives.

We produce educational content, host community dialogues, and publish policy briefs that make this complex world legible to ordinary people — students, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and consumers alike.

Our Vision

Africa's first Infrastructure Literacy Platform.

We envision a future where Africa's digital citizens are informed participants — not passive consumers — of the technology systems that shape their economies, governance, and daily lives.

Through the AADEIP Digital Series, the Consumer ICT Guide, and our growing network of community dialogues, we are building the continent's most accessible infrastructure knowledge platform.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Access for All

We believe every South African — regardless of education level — deserves to understand the digital systems shaping their life.

Plain Language

No jargon. No assumptions. We translate complex infrastructure and policy into clear, everyday language.

Community-Driven

Our Digital Series is shaped by the questions real people are asking — not by the priorities of corporations.

Credible & Independent
